This White-Breasted Nut-Hatch;

A nice photo-snap;

Cheering a rather gloomy day;

I’m glad that it passed my way;

Joy can be found anywhere;

You just need to be aware;

Even a small and simple thing;

Like a bird – great pleasure brings;

Or the radiant sunset rays;

Never should cease to amaze;

Magic of the season’s change;

Also fascinates my brain;

Did you ever stop to think;

Nature works so perfectly;

Sunrise, sunset, winter, fall;

There is a rhythm to it all;

Compared to a new house/car;

Nature dazzles more by far!

I should really live each day;

Like a child, awed and amazed.
