The vibrant mountain cottontail – Blends with surroundings very well;

In fact, I can hardly see her – In this quickly snapped blog picture;

Large floppy ears spread from her top – And large hind feet help her to hop;

She probably thinks I’m a hunter – Come to bring deadly harm to her;

I wish all the creatures I see – Would not be so afraid of me;

My hobby’s blogging, not hunting – I would not harm a living thing;

But they don’t know that, they’re so scared – Of me, that giant over there;

Ah well, it does add to the fun – To snap a pic before they’re gone.
