The hummingbird – Is not a nerd;

Hum, Hum, Humming – Through the day;

As he passes – On his way;

Wings so small – And beak so sharp;

Flying swiftly – Like a dart;

He must be – Flying down south;

Before winter – Comes about;

Pleasant summer – now has passed;

Cold is coming – Back so fast;

He must jet south – ‘Fore it’s late;

Freezing climates – Are not great!
