Explorin’ and Tourin’ – Is never borin’;

Seeing new things – And pics, creating;

Going to new lands – My mind, expands;

Creatures, so wild – Some fierce, some mild;

Pics of wildlife – So very fun;

Try to snap pics – Before they run;

Just a few seconds – And then, they’re gone;

Yet there are also – Dangers out there;

One must be cautious – And maintain care;

Close calls with danger – Gave me some scares;

Like that one time – I was quite weak;

Ran out of water – In desert heat;

A flowing river – I had to seek;

I nearly perished – Out in the sun;

Dealing with heat stroke – Had me undone;

I found some water – Just before fainting;

Afterwards I – Much more water was packing;

Or when my car got – Stuck in the sand;

My tires kept spinning – In that quicksand;

I had to walk – For several miles;

A ranger station – Gave me a smile;

Maybe someday my – Luck will run thin;

Dying while out there – Fate rather grim;

But at least I’d die – Doin’ what I loved;

As my free spirt – Watched from above;

My Skeleton’d – Make a good pic;

For photo-bloggers – Who might pass it.
