Coyote companions – Hunting together;

With two, problems are – Easier weathered;

One leads the way – Out in the front;

And one protects – The rear from affront;

Helping each other – In their long hunt;

They’ll find some game – Before days done;

And also have some – Coyote fun;

Worries or cares – Are almost none;

Frolicking in – Warm summer’s sun;

My car they can – Easily out-run;

That’s why I’m glad – I stumbled upon;

These two coyotes – Before they were gone!
