The Upland Sandpiper – Makes quite a nice picture;

In fact, for my blog – A very nice feature;

This bird proudly stood – On top of this rock;

So that passers-by – Would see him alot;

He carefully touts – His brown, rustic feathers;

Which help him to fly – And new lands, discover;

Today he’s not worried – About anything;

Summer has arrived – Warm weather – nice scene;

You might say that summer – Is so exciting;

Warm weather adds to – Ease of exploring;

And that is just what – I was out doing;

When this sandpiper – I had passed and seen.
