The Wooly Sunflowers – Emit yellow power;

Mixed in with green – Quite a nice scene;

They appear like – Airplane propellers;

Blades surrounding – A circle center;

What if they could – Fly on their own;

Detach from stem – And start to roam?;

Where would they fly? – Somewhere up high:

Or the South Pole? – See penguins dive?;

Maybe they’d like – A cooler clime:

Antartica – Might suit them fine;

Perhaps they’d like – to feel some heat;

Texas just might – Suit them quite neat;

Until they shrivel – Dead while sight-seeing.
