Frightening stairs – Up in the air;

I would beware – Walking down there;

They could be creaky – Not well-attached;

And who knows if – They might collapse;

Under the weight – Of a large crowd;

Causing the stairs – To crumble down;

Still, though those stairs – Panic my brain;

I might use them – To escape flames.
