A human life, is like a wave 🌊 – That is out in the ocean made;

It travels above ocean sand – Each moment, closer to the land;

At first, quite imperceptible – But, over time it grows and grows;

Like humans that start out so small – But over time, grow ever tall;

The wave finally approaches land – And the wave almost seems to stand;

As it peaks, reaching it’s lifecrest – A burst of oceanic zest;

A huge wave on the beach appears – A rambling noise beachgoers hear;

The wave is now at its strength peak – A moment that all surfer’s seek;

Like humans, who hit peak mid-life – Their power, strength now at it’s height;

And some people make quite a splash – Their influence seems rather vast;

But then, people start their decline – Like how waves crash, after peak time;

A weakened wave rolls up the beach ⛱️ – A human life grows ever weak;

Finally the wave rolls back home – To ocean depths, where it had grown;

Likewise, the human soul flies home – To heavenly halls where it once roamed;

Waves growing, cresting, crash, retreat – Mirrors a human life quite neat;

Old waves roll out, new waves roll in – Another generation begins;

Some waves are great, and some are small – The same destiny’s shared by all.
