The White Crowned Sparrow

The White-crowned sparrow – is a friendly fowl fellow;

Relaxing in the tree – And appearing rather mellow;

A crisp, chevron adorns his side – While white highlights cover his eyes;

Could he be planning something fun – Now that a new day has begun?

Perhaps a flight ✈️ to some new field – Or trying out a rodent meal  🍽️;

Oh to have wings – Fly anywhere;

What a thrill it would be to share;

With sparrows in their flights through air;

Each day I’d fly to work with flair.
