Glancing my way – Beautiful day;

Foreboding mask – Covers his eyes;

Gray crown on top – Small beak beside;

Interesting plumage – Attractive sure;

Wonder if I – Might see some more;

I can spot them – All through the year;

These birds are rather – Plentiful here;

They like to rest – Up in the trees;

A better view – More things to see;

Why do they have – A criminal mask?;

Naturally prepared – For criminal tasks;

Doing bird crimes – Not being Id’d;

Escaping capture – From bird police;

Wonders of nature – Ever amaze;

Dressing it’s creatures – In interesting ways.
