The startled Jackrabbit – jumps swiftly away;

He’s so very fast – like a fleeting sun’s ray;

Getting photos of them – is so very hard;

Once my camera is out – they have hopped very far;

Then in bushes they vanish – not appearing again;

‘Til I walk through the shrubs – and surprise them again;

I have just a few seconds – to get a good shot;

Which is why I have not – photographed them alot;

Their long ears are such fun – they point straightly up;

And their soft grayish fur – capsulates them in fluff;

I need to confess – That I do like this pic;

I captured the Jackrabbit – in a few seconds split.
