Four charming seagulls sit in a row

Basking in avian friendship glow;

Sharing fowl jokes that fill them with glee;

Enjoying the winter’s refreshing breeze;

They’re not perturbed to have a bird-brain;

Life is enjoyable for them, all the same;

Stunning white features, and wings tinged with gray;

Give them an elegant look through the day;

Wildlife friendships can be very tight;

They may require the flock to survive;

Helping each other, through thick and through thin;

We humans could maybe learn some things from them;

Like during migration from north down to south;

Each bird takes their turn out in front, without clout;

No one bird insists on hogging the lead;

Like we humans oft tend to do, selfishly;

Friendship and service, avian virtues;

Birds could help people learn a thing or two.
