The Chukar looks far – On the valley below;
What’s she looking at – Guess we’ll never know;
Perhaps she is pondering – The meaning of life;
Or maybe this rock helps her – calm inner strife;
Her home’s certainly found – In a scenic place;
A nice view is found – Where’er she may face;
Her colorful patterns – Do make her stand out;
With white/black/gray feathers – And orange covered snout;
She seems rather content – Perched there on that rock;
Enjoying nice weather – Which springtime has brought;
Miss Chukar and I – Are united in this;
Passing through cold winter – Has filled us with bliss!
