Does time make change – Or change make time?

A splendid question for a rhyme;

As time advances, change accrues;

Altering things that we once knew;

These unseen factors – change and time;

Seem to be always intertwined;

Which causes which, or which comes first;

A tough mystery to discern;

Each moment, time creeps on a bit;

Change remakes things as the clock ⌚ ticks;

Without time, would change cease to be;

Would sameness rule eternity?

Or is it change that rules the day;

Changing the time from yesterday?

Just think that as you read this line;

There was a slight advance of time;

And also you changed slightly too;

If nothing else, you older grew;

One thing is clear, without these two;

The universe would freeze straight through;

Time and change can be good for you;

Depending on your point of view.
