I have no regret – to see the Egret;

Getting wet – in the inlet;

I didn’t trek – far to get;

This photo of – the Egret;

Like a parrot pet – a beautiful crest;

Covers the head – of the Egret;

I’ll bet – I’ve never met;

Birds with more zest – than the Egret;

I’m glad it stepped in view and let;

Me take my best bird photo yet.
